Overview

Rejeesh holds the position of Partner & Head of Audit in Qatar. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Rejeesh has more than 20 years’ of experience in providing statutory audit, accounting advisory and related services for listed and non listed entities in Qatar and in India. Before joining Baker Tilly, Rejeesh was an Audit and Advisory Director of KPMG in Qatar. He has 16 years of audit experience with KPMG in various industries such as real estate, manufacturing and trading, retail and consumer market, automobiles, exchange house, construction, hotel and hospitality, investment, petrochemical, service sector and group audits in Qatar.

Relevant Experience

• Rejeesh has extensive experience of handling big portfolio of clients and team. His areas of expertise ranges from Audit & Internal Control, Risk management and Accounting advisory. He has advised many client timely preparation of statutory books of accounts and finalisation of accounts in compliance with the International Financial Reporting Standards.
• Rejeesh’s other expertise areas includes but not limited to Implementation of IFRS Standards, Setting high standards of service by providing value addition and professional advisory services in financial management, corporate laws & tax planning, etc., Management of Group Audit, Internal Audit, Reporting on Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), Advise CFOs on Budgeting and Forecasting, Cash flow management, MIS preparation and presentation, Advise on ICV score card preparations, Agreed Upon Procedure engagements etc,
• As Partner, Rejeesh will ensure that co-ordinated delivery of services is received from Baker Tilly by all clients. He will be responsible for overseeing all engagement process from the planning and liaising with the management of entities to understand and address their concerns and to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of services.
• Rejeesh will also ensure the completion of various types of engagements within set time and quality standards and giving recommendations on internal control and process improvement.
